Abode says the sensor’s state is available through Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant via an Abode hub. Verify what “available” means in the platform you use: visible state, remote state, notifications, history, spoken status, and automation triggers are different functions.

Test platform state against the Abode app and physical door. If Apple Home says closed while Abode says open—or one platform is delayed—do not build a lock, alarm, or lighting routine on the assumption that every state arrives at the same time.
